What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), delivery country and address, class set (optional), any notes you add, the pieces you ordered, whether you chose pickup or delivery, your order reference, and whether your payment has been received.
When you join a waitlist: your name, email address, WhatsApp number (optional), city and country.
When a school contacts us: your name, role, institution, estimated student population, project type, email and phone number, and whether you want updates from us.
On your device: the store saves your cart and your chosen currency in your browser so they are still there when you return. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
We do not collect your card number. Card and PayPal payments are handled by PayPal. Bank transfers go through our bank.
How we use it
- to set aside, confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to match your payment to it;
- to contact you about your order, your waitlist place or your enquiry;
- to keep the financial and tax records the law requires;
- to send news and new releases, only if you asked for them. You can stop at any time.
We do not sell your personal information.
Why we are allowed to
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 we rely on: carrying out your order (contract), your consent (for waitlists and updates), our legal obligations (such as accounting records), and our legitimate interest in running the business and preventing fraud, where this does not override your rights.
Who we share it with
Only the people who help us serve you, and only what they need:
- our website host and data storage provider (Netlify);
- payment providers: PayPal if you pay that way, and our bank (Moniepoint MFB) for bank transfers;
- couriers and delivery partners, for your name, address and phone number;
- our email provider, and professional advisers such as accountants, where needed.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Sending information abroad
Some of these providers run servers or offices outside Nigeria, so your information may be stored or processed in other countries. We use providers that protect personal information, and we share only what is needed.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax and accounting rules. Waitlist details are kept until the piece is released and for a reasonable time afterwards, or until you ask us to remove them. School enquiries are kept while the discussion is active. We do not keep personal information longer than we need it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a usable form. You can also object to certain uses and withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, contact us using the details above.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Keeping it safe
The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, our order records are kept behind a password, and only the people who need to handle orders can see them. No system is perfectly secure, and if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
Our store is meant for adults, including parents ordering for their children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
